Dr. Josh Cochran, a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, boasts a strong track record in the dental industry. As the founder and visionary of the region’s largest dental group, he worked alongside an amazing team nurturing its growth from inception to a workforce of 160 employees.
In 2024, Dr. Cochran transitioned out of dentistry and into his role as the Chief Investment Officer for the Cochran Capital 3(c)(1) Fund. Cochran Capital achieved $145M in closings for its investors and another $200M in progress in its 1st year. With a meticulous approach to underwriting and due diligence, he evaluates hundreds of deals annually, giving his investors access to well researched and managed opportunities to build their own real estate portfolios.
Driven by his mission to empower fellow dentists to transcend chairside practice, he invites them to invest alongside him, providing a unique avenue for wealth accumulation.
Beyond investing, Dr. Cochran is a real estate developer and contractor, specializing in ground-up and value-add construction projects across Washington and Idaho. Currently overseeing the ground-up development of $125M in assets across five multifamily complexes comprising 485 apartments, he continues to redefine real estate landscapes with his innovative vision.
Dr. Cochran’s expertise is underpinned by a distinguished educational background. He holds a Business degree with honors in Finance from the University of Washington, complemented by a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the prestigious Arizona School of Medicine & Oral Health. With his blend of business acumen and dental proficiency, Dr. Cochran walks the path for dentist investors seeking to elevate their financial portfolios and minimize taxation.
His primary aspiration is creating the best life for his wife, and three elementary age children, Otis, Mabel and Posey. As a family, they enjoy ski racing, efoiling, and various other sports at a very recreational level, and spending time with their cousins, and grandparents in Great Pacific Northwest.
